Church services going digital

All our church services are going digital as a result of the coronavirus outbreak and the subsequent lockdown. We are using the video conferencing platform Zoom. You can find out more about Zoom and how we use it on the Services go digital page.

Our church services will be open to anyone on Saturdays at 10:30am and every subsequent week until we can once again meet in a physical setting.

All you will need to do is register with us using the form below to receive a link for the service and a password. Your name and details will not be stored once the link has been sent out. No other correspondence will be sent unless you have already signed up to our newsletter.

ALL church services suspended

As a result of the government’s shutdown of all physical church gatherings, the Watering Hole has had to suspend all church services with immediate effect. We are looking into ways that the spiritual needs of our community can still be met and will post any updates here and on all our usual channels.

Regular church services suspended until further notice

In line with government advice to avoid social gatherings during the coronavirus outbreak our regular church services (see below) are suspended, initially until April 17, 2020. Instead, we will be meeting in several family-orientated “house churches” to meet the spiritual needs of our community.

Regular church services

The Watering Hole has a wide range of church services to meet everyone’s needs. These are the different services we hold on a regular monthly cycle.

First Saturday of the month: Worship service – 11:00, Rufus Hall, Calmore Community Centre

Second Saturday of the month: House Church – 11:00 in two homes in Calmore. Call 07503 190775 to find out the one most suitable for you

Third Saturday of the month: Same as first Saturday (see above)

Fourth Saturday of the month: Messy Church 11:00 Calmore Junior School main hall (unless otherwise announced on our Facebook Page)

If there is a fifth Saturday in a month we do not hold any service.

Each service, of whatever format, finishes with fellowship lunch. There is no obligation to stay but you would be more than welcome to.

At Christmas and Easter, these may change but we will announce any details on this website

We do not hold services at Calmore Community Centre during August. Contact the pastor on the number above or by email for information on where we will be meeting each week of August.
