Christmas 2016 @ The Watering Hole

There is a lot going on during the Christmas season at The Watering Hole and you are invited. There are Christmas services, a quiz night, a creative arts show and of course carols. Below is a list of events at the Watering Hole this Christmas.

Saturday Dec 3rd 11:00am

‘Best things come in little packages’ – Service with carols followed by food. Rufus Room, Calmore Community Centre. FREE

Sunday Dec 4th 4:00-6:00pm

Christmas Family Quiz Night. Children’s questions, tasting round plus Christmas themed rounds. Hunter’s Hall, Calmore Community Centre. Children: 50p, Adults: £1.50, CCA Members: £1 – All proceeds to local charity.

Saturday Dec 10th 6:30pm

The annual Calmore Creative Arts Christmas Carols presents ‘Strictly Christmas”. The Christmas story told with blacklight theatre, puppet teams and acrobatics. Hunter’s Hall, Calmore Community Centre. FREE. Refreshments served.

Sunday Dec 11th 11:00

Walking Treasure Hunt around West Quay, Southampton. Follow the directions, answer the questions and score points. Meet outside ‘Make a Bear’ FREE. You can always do your Christmas shopping afterwards.

Friday Dec 16th 7:30pm

Carols by Candlelight. A chance for a great festive sing-a-long. Rufus Room, Calmore Community Centre. FREE

Saturday Dec 17th 11:00am

Messy Christmas; Lots of fun, crafts, stories, puppets and activities for parents with their children. Followed by a snack lunch. Sorry, no unaccompanied children. This event is in the main hall Calmore Junior School. FREE
