RAK says, “Thank you.”
Totton’s Random Act of Kindness Club decided to say, “Thank You” with flowers on Saturday 7th March. Totton has a number of charity shops all of which are manned by volunteers and Linda-Rose and her Random Act of Kindness Team decided to thank the volunteers by surprising them on Saturday afternoon with a bouquet of flowers and a hand made “Thank You” card.
The team gathered at Calmore Junior School to make the bouquets and design the tags to go with them. Each card thanked the volunteers for the time the give and the work they do. After completing the bouquets volunteer drivers took small teams out to hit the charity shops and present the volunteers with something special for the work they do.
Without exception the recipients were surprised and gratified to receive a little token of thanks.
One of the volunteers said:
It’s the nicest thing that anyone has ever done for me
and another simple said:
You have made my day…
If you would like to “Spread the Smile” and have fun doing it then why not contact Linda-Rose to find out more about how you can participate
The Random Acts of Kindness club based in Totton hit the charity shops on Saturday 6th March 2015. They were not there to buy but to give a bouquet of flowers and a thank you card for all the volunteer hours they put in for the charities they represent. Here are some of the photographs of the event
