Teens Club (TC): Update
TC Begins January 26th 2017
The Watering Hole in partnership with Calmore Community Association have been running a club for young people in Years 7 to 10. Initially this was run as a pilot scheme and on Tuesdays at the Calmore Community Centre. It has been decided to continue with the club which has the name Teens Club, chosen and adopted by members.
There are however a few minor changes: It will be held on Thursdays between 6:30-7:30pm. Entry remains at £1 but all refreshments will be paid for from the tuck shop.
The aim of the club is to provide somewhere for young people to hang out together with some supervision. A variety of activities will be on offer each evening such as skittles, table tennis, table football, crafts, football etc, which the teenagers can take part in or simply come along and chat over snacks.
When: Thursdays, 6:30pm – 7:30pm
Where: Calmore Community Centre – Rufus Hall
Cost: £1 per session
Those coming will be required to abide by a code of conduct and will need to register to be part of the scheme. Forms for parents will be available on the first night of attendance and MUST be filled in, signed and returned by the next time the child attends.
