Treasure Hunt for half-term
Some family fun for half-term
Covid-19 restrictions mean we can’t meet for our popular local treasure hunts. We have, because of the lockdown restrictions, been encouraged to get out and exercise.
We have taken both these into account on a walking treasure hunt around the environs of Eling. As it is half-term it is an opportunity for the whole family to take some exercise together and have the fun of a treasure hunt too.
You can download the instructions and questions by clicking on either of the two buttons below. There will be token giveaways for the first 30 taking part and submitting their answers by 5:00pm Sunday, February 21st, 2021.
In order to comply with government restrictions we are encouraging those living outside of Totton and Eling not to travel to the area to take part. Giveaways will not be sent to addresses outside of Totton and Eling. We would also like to remind you that you should only do this activity with the people you live with. Remember to keep safe and legal and abide by restrictions that are in place for your safety and the safety of others.
The instructions come in two formats dependent on what computer, smartphone and software you have. Submit answers to info@thewateringhole.org.uk with your name and email. Please include Treasure Hunt in the subject line

Extended closing date
Unfortunately we have been having a problem with corrupted email accounts on info@thewateringhole.org.uk account. As a result a number of people have tried to submit their answers only to have an “undeliverable” message returned. We are therefore, extending the closing date to Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 5:00pm to allow people to re submit their answers using the email info@thewateringhole.org.uk which has now been repaired.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
