What’s happening… in October
Autumn, the season of mellow fruitfulness has arrived. With October the nights are drawing in noticeably and there is a chill in the air. There is plenty going on in October at the Watering Hole so here is a round up of what is happening. Remember to always check our Facebook Page too.
Car Treasure Hunt
This is great fun for all the family spotting clues and answering questions. We will be finishing at an undisclosed destination where, if you wish, you can stop for a bite to eat. This event is FREE. Meet at the Calmore Community Centre car park at 10:30am on Sunday 4th October. If you do not have a car but would like to join in call 07941 903257 and we can arrange for you to join another team.
TOTRAK
The Totton Random Act of Kindness Club needs people willing to give a few volunteer hours to help transform gardens and public places. Come armed with gloves, gardening tools (if you have any) and plenty of willingness to help. Followed by a picnic (bring your own food) at Testwood Lakes (weather permitting). This event is FREE and takes place at 2:00-5:00pm on Saturday October 10th. Meet at the Calmore Community Centre flower bed.
Family Quiz Night
The Watering Hole and Calmore Community Centre Association are organising a Family Quiz Night for the evening of Sunday October 11th starting at 5:00pm. CCA Members 50p; Children 50p; Non-members £1. All money raised at the event will split between ADRA UK and Calmore Community Centre improvement projects. Teams must be no more than 6 people including children.
Family Skittles Night
Another fun-filled event for all the family at the Bold Forrester 7:00pm on Sunday October 25th. Order your own food and drinks at the bar on the night.
